Rating : - Decent price for a good boom mic. I'm a gamer. My old mono labtech boom mic died on me so I was looking for a nice close to the mouth, cheap, mano audio boom mic. I don't want to use stereo headphones because a great 5.1 surround sound set up. Why use the headphones? I wanted a working microphone that wouldn't get in the way of my audio setup. The Sennheiser PC121 Mono-aural headset does the trick. Yeah, the ear bud hangs a little in my ear but I can still hear both sides of my stereo set up. My voice comes in well through teamspeak. Just gotta remember to set Teamspeak's output a little lower if you have a loud sound system. The Sennheiser will sometimes pick up the voices. Otherwise, I doubt a normal PC speaker setup will be picked up by this headset.
It's very light. I can play for hours on end and I get no discomfort. Good ergonomics.
I like that I can use it both on left or right ear.
