Purchased this Thanksgiving day as a doorbuster special. Quality is okay. That's why I gave it 3 stars. Coffee maker is time consuming to use properly. Per mfg.: Hot water s/b kept in carafe for 5 minutes before brewing. There is no heater element to keep the coffee warm. It depends on the tightly closed preheasted thermal pot. Hence, the 5 minutes of hot water prior to using. The button to let coffee pour, can be hard to press, when the pot is less than full. The coffee just didn't taste as good as our previous coffeemaker. If it had, we would have kept it. I also purchased a second one as a gift. Thankfully, I hadn't given it yet.
