Although this manufacturer claims that the iLuv i177 is compatible with the new iPod Nano, their version of 'compatibility' apparently does not include device charging. On page 13 of the user's manual there is an entry "Please note that this unit cannot charge iPod without 30-pin connector". The new iPod Nano has a 32 pin connector. I'm not sure this is the reason, but neither of our new Nanos will charge on the i177.
