I've given this thing four stars not because I find it great with lots of awesome songs and interesting new bands to get into. I've given it four stars because others might find it so. You see, I just can't get into prog much. Thresholds' Dead Reckoning and Porcupine Trees' Fear Of A Blank Planet cured me of my utter inability to `get into it' but I'm still not really on board yet.

But for those who've been into the form for years this may be a great way of introducing yourself to a bunch of bands that may not of caught your eye while you were staring at your Yes collection. A bunch of big names are here like Porcupine Tree, Spocks Beard, GPS, The Flower Kings and stalwart performer Fish. Not to mention contributions from Mostly Autumn and Wolverine who would probably inhabit different ends of the prog spectrum most days of the week. Swiss fem metal/hard rock merchants Lunatica chime in with a keyboard driven number that is both plaintive and forceful from their excellent The Edge of Infinity album.

And that's all I have to say about that.....
